Travel from Chennai’s International Airport  

• The travel time between Chennai International Airport and the Hotel Accommodation near the Conference Venue (Radisson Blu Resort, Temple Bay, Mamallapuram, Chennai) is approximately 1 ½ hours by road.
• Shuttle buses will be operated by the University between Chennai International Airport and the Hotel Accommodations located near Mamallapuram, Chennai.
• The pre-paid Taxis are also available and must be booked at the Chennai International Airport itself.
• The fare for a prepaid taxi from Chennai Airport to Mamallapuram, Chennai, depends on the type of car, time of travel (day or night), and the distance traveled. The pre-paid taxi fare can range from USD 35 to 90 (INR 3,000 to 7,000).

    • MOST IMPORTANT: You are requested to apply for a “Conference Visa” only as per the communication from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. A copy of the communication is enclosed herewith, which you can use at the time of applying for an India visa in your country.
    • PLEASE NOTE: We wish to inform the participants that the “Political Clearance” document has already been sent to 96 participants. The rest of the participants will also be communicated with the document at the earliest.
